Consumer Fraud Prevention Project Operated by Elder Law of Michigan, Inc. |
|
Elder Law of Michigan is joining public and private agencies nationwide in urging consumers to read up, reach out and become informed about fraud. Through an innovative volunteer-staffed project, Elder Law of Michigan will reach out to more than 100,000 known and potential victims of telemarketing and other types of fraud. Throughout 2007, volunteers at the Elder Law of Michigan call center will contact older adults across the country; warn them about scams delivered by telephone, mail and the internet; and follow up with prevention tips and information.
Volunteers are the power for the project. If you are interested in volunteering your time to help, call the Consumer Fraud Prevention Project office at 517-853-2398. The call center is located in Lansing, MI. Volunteers - Log In [here] to the calendar |
