Could you or someone you know use more $$$ each month to help buy the things you need?

A NEW program in 10 Michigan Counties helps people age 60 or older get a Bridge Card!  This new program is MiCAFE, called “My Café,” and is offered by Elder Law of Michigan and local senior and community centers.  MiCAFÉ stands for the Michigan Coordinated Access to Food for the Elderly.

The Bridge Card helps pay for food so seniors can use their cash to buy things like medicine or pay for heat, lights, water or make repairs to their home.  To figure out how much you might be able to get, use the Calculator!

Call a center in your area to set up a time to meet.  A caring volunteer will sit down with you at the meeting and show you how MiCAFE works.  You don’t have to fill out any forms –it’s just one meeting.  You can also sign up for health care services at the same time if you like.

MiCAFE makes it easy for seniors to get a Bridge Card in 10 counties throughout Michigan including: Branch, Cass, Charlevoix, Eaton, Emmet, Genesee, Gratiot, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph, and Wayne County.

Seniors should have enough money to pay their bills and to buy the things they need!  MiCAFE is here to help.  Please call a center in your area for yourself, a family member, or a friend today!
