The Legal Hotline for Older
Michiganians!
This Hotline has a variety of ways for law students, attorneys
and social workers to volunteer to help seniors with their legal
needs:
- Assist with intake by answering
incoming calls to the Hotline, gathering demographic from
callers, making referrals, and outreach activities.
- Provide brief services to seniors
which may include legal research, writing letters, and making
calls for clients.
- Making follow-up calls to seniors
to determine if they need additional assistance to resolve their
legal and related problems.
- Experience attorneys can sign up
for our Pro Bono Project and take cases from their homes or
offices.
